How this site uses cookies
A small number, only with your permission, and explained here in plain words.
Version 1.0 · 6 September 2026
1. What is on this site
This website uses ordinary pages, styles, small scripts for its forms and reading options, and photographs, all served from our own domain.
With your permission it also loads measurement tools so that we can see which pages are read and whether our advertising is reaching the right families. Nothing of that kind loads until you press Accept on the banner, and you can decline.
- Google Analytics, with IP addresses anonymised, to count visits and see which pages are useful.
- Meta Pixel, so that we can measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your cookie choice.
Reading preferences on your device
If you choose a different text size, stronger contrast, underlined links or reduced movement, we save those choices in this browser using local storage named wg-reading-options. This remembers the display settings you requested; it does not send them to us or use them for advertising. It remains until you reset the reading options or clear this site's data. If storage is blocked, the controls still work on the current page.
2. What our web host records
Like every website, ours sits on a server that keeps a short technical log of requests: the page asked for, the time, the browser type and an abbreviated network address. It is used to keep the site up and to spot attacks, it is not linked to your enquiry, and it is deleted on the host's normal cycle.
3. If you send the enquiry form
The form does not set a cookie. What you type is sent to us when you press send, and nothing before that leaves your browser. The privacy notice explains what we then do with it and how long we keep it.
4. Blocking cookies
Every browser lets you block or clear cookies; the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all have a section called Cookies and site data. Nothing on this site will break if you do.
